Review: Apple Watch Series 5

The Apple Watch Series 5 is an Apple Fan’s dream.  The ability to stay connected without being intrusive is a wonderful change from the ordinary.  I made the switch from my Tag Heuer to the Series 3 originally and haven’t gone back.  Sure, the elegance isn’t the same, but the benefits are numerous.  A few weeks back, my wife and I were at the local pub enjoying dinner, kid-free, which is a rarity, and my watch alerted me to a high resting heart rate.  Odd, because it’s the kids that cause the stress.  Ha!  Well a follow up with the doc and all is well.   Good to know my watch helps with keeping me in good health.   I have alerts to keep moving, exercise, stay hydrated, and to rest when needed.   Text messages, calls, and alerts are all easily manageable and you don’t need to whip out your cell phone at the dinner table.  The Series 5 offers an Always On Display which was the missing piece for me from the older models.  Battery life is solid.  This is a great tech addition to your life if you’re into that sort of thing.
